Is it possible to create a new race category for a homebrew campaign? I am brand-new to doing this, and cannot find a way to accomplish this task. Is there a way to do this?

    Hello!

So when viewing the specific campaign, you should see an 'Edit Campaign' button. If you click that button it will take you to the edit page, where you should see a tab for categories. In that tab you can add or remove categories from your campaign.

Let me know if that is what you are looking for, or if you are looking for a different answer.

We actually have a completely new race: Lycanthropes. They are not monsters. They are not werewolves, either. Their natural form is Lycan, but they can take a human form, to interact with humans. We are basing them on the book, Mikhail, Called Misha, by Katzenbarzeit. [https://www.amazon.com/Mikhail-Called-Mechanically-Inclined-Lycanthrope-ebook/dp/B08PK2MTPF/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Mikhail+called+Misha&qid=1623644168&s=books&sr=1-1] Yes, we have permission from the author. We are just trying to figure out how to fit this within the DND 5e format. There are several other races that we will need to create, also.

Following your directions, it seems to add the Race, but I still can't see it in the listing. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you for answering so swiftly. It is deeply appreciated.

    That sounds really cool!

So once the new category is created, you will want to go into the specific campaign item and change the category to "Race" (since that is the category that was created). That will then categorize it under the new category of "Race".

To clarify, when you say listing, you just mean the campaign page, and having it show up under the "Race" tab correct?
