Monster Monday - Red Mage Lich

As you step into the dimly lit chamber, an oppressive aura of malevolent power presses down upon you. The air is thick with the scent of decay and the faint crackle of arcane energy. At the far end of the room, standing before a throne of blackened bone and charred wood, is a figure that radiates an aura of dark magic.
The red mage lich is an imposing sight, clad in resplendent crimson robes that shimmer with an unnatural, sinister light. Gold trim accents the edges of the robe, forming intricate patterns that seem to shift and writhe as if alive. His skeletal hands, adorned with rings of twisted gold and pulsating gems, clutch a staff topped with a glowing, blood-red crystal.
His face is a ghastly visage of undeath, a skull with remnants of desiccated flesh clinging to it. His skeletal hand raises, and the staff crackles with eldritch energy, casting an eerie, crimson glow that illuminates the chamber's dark corners.
The red mage lich stands as a formidable foe, a master of both arcane and necromantic arts. To defeat him will require not only strength and courage but also cunning and wisdom. The fate of your adventure hangs in the balance as you prepare to face this ancient and terrible adversary.
